Create killer opportunities -
Just by writing about your life.
Rebel Scribes is an intimate 6- week cohort program that brings together entrepreneurs, business executives, and nonprofit leaders to learn time-friendly tactics for crafting stories that get audiences to care about what you're doing. Here's what you'll walk away with.

Origin Story
A publish-ready origin story for your website, pitch deck, social media, blog, newsletter, or wherever your story should be told.

Keynote
A tight 5-minute speech adapted from your origin story, ready to present to audiences, investors, or even your own team.

Mind Map
20+ unique story topics based on your personal journey or expertise, and outlines for two of those stories to get your content calendar started.

Conversation Pitch
Master storytelling in a conversational setting with a carefully crafted and well-rehearsed "conversation pitch". No more word vomit.

Peeps who give a shit
The best path to success is to surround yourself with people who care about your goals as much as you do. This cohort will blow your mind.

Meet your facilitator
Hi there. I'm Kristin Kenzy.
I began my career as a competitive figure skater, but when a broken hip smashed my Olympic dreams, I went into business instead.
Over the last 20 years, I've launched companies in real estate development, tech, and media, and even did the soul-crushing corporate thing on a few occasions.
My career took me to NYC, Australia, Harvard, and back to NYC, where I currently reside with my immensely patient and supportive husband.
Over the last two years, I've transitioned into business editorial & education:
-
Managing Editor of the entrepreneurship publication Trends by The Hustle.
-
Creator and publisher of Drunk Business Advice.
-
CEO ghostwriter with 110k+ words published, totaling 4.7m+ unique reads.
-
Founder of Stealth Mastermind for entrepreneurs.
-
Curriculum developer for youth entrepreneurship accelerators.
-
Harvard alumni committee leader, and academic guest advisor in Harvard's Graduate School of Design Executive Education.
I'm not some guru (ick) touting a process that I created for the purpose of "selling". In fact, I never intended to do this.
But enough people have asked how I conceive and craft my stories, that I couldn't ignore the giant flashing neon sign that says "YOU GOTTA TEACH THIS SHIT".
So I hope you'll join me. Let's have some fun.
Who should apply?
Entrepreneurs
Attract enthusiastic investors, top talent, and raving customers by crafting magnetic stories about your company and personal journey.
Business Executives
Introduce strong editorial and captivating points of view into your personal and professional content strategy.
Nonprofit Leaders
Mastering the unique story of your mission is a critical part of convincing people to help you achieve it. Don't drop the ball.
Writing for an audience makes you smarter.
Learning isn't linear. You don't immediately draw lessons from your experiences like an after-school special.
But learning how to tell stories about your experiences, your point of view, and frankly, your f*ck-ups, in a way that resonates with an audience, will make them care about what you have to say.
And it will attract opportunities.
Craft stories that stick
Tap into storytelling formulas that will make people say "holy moly, when are they making a movie about this?"
Humanize data
Everyone wants to know your numbers, but no one wants to listen to you talk about your numbers.
Use AI - the right way
If you're not leveraging AI, you're already behind. But if AI is writing for you, no one will ever want to read it.
Stop word vomitting
Learn why brevity and simplicity can be a superpower, and how to know when you've said enough.
The nitty-gritty
What's the time commitment?
Course Dates: Jan 21 - Feb 28, 2025
All programming is virtual
You're busy. I'm busy. Coordinating schedules is a bitch. That's why I designed Rebel Scribes with very few rigid time commitments. Outside of those, the rest of the program is completed asynchronously, or with flexible 1:1 scheduling with other cohort members and myself.
Each week will have 1-2 hours of live programming, with about 8-10 hours of asynchronous or flexible course material that can be balanced throughout the week depending on your schedule.
And everyone will be connected 24/7 in a dedicated Slack group.
The rigid dates are as follows (and allowances can be made for absences on some occasions):
-
Cohort Kick-Off: January 21, 4pm - 5:30pm ET
-
Weekly Live Labs: Every Thursday 4:30pm - 5:30pm ET
-
Graduation Final: February 28, 4pm - 5:30pm ET
What are the program outcomes?
The Rebel Scribes storytelling cohort will focus on both personal and organizational storytelling. At the end of the six weeks, you will walk away with:
-
A publish-ready origin story, edited by Kristin herself, for your website, social media, blog, newsletter, or wherever your story should be told.
-
An adapted 5-minute speech version of your origin story.
-
A "Mind Map" with 20+ unique story topics based on your personal journey or expertise, and outlines for two of those stories to get you started.
-
A well-rehearsed "Conversation Pitch" to master storytelling in a conversational setting.
-
A new group of friends who care about your goals as much as you do.
How big is the cohort?
To keep the group intimate and encourage relationship-building, we will be accepting no more than 12 participants.
All participants will undergo an application process and interview before being accepted. As a veteran community builder, I take this part very seriously -- applying does not guarantee an interview or acceptance into the program.
Each successful applicant will be thoughtfully assigned an accountability partner who they'll work with closely throughout the six weeks, but everyone will have the opportunity to work with each other one-to-one, in small groups, and privately with me.
Alright, I'm interested, now what's the price?
-
Standard price for applications received on or after 1/11/2025: $4,000
-
New Year 20% discount for applications received before 1/11/2025: $4,000 $3,200
And yes, installment payments are available through the third-party payment processor, Klarna (some restrictions apply).
I still have questions. Can I talk to Kristin?
Sure thing!
